This print represents a historic home in Eugene, Oregon. I was inspired after spending a day volunteering at the museum, I wanted to study and depict the victorian architecture and surrounding landscape through a single-colored block print. After transferring my line-drawning onto my linoleum block I meticulously chose which areas to carve away, creating the white space in the composition, and which parts to leave to be inked up and printed.
